According to the Sonora VFD, the single vehicle crash occurred 23 miles from Sonora on FM864. The driver apparently was the sole occupant of the vehicle and sustained injuries.
According to officials on the scene, a dark colored vehicle was southbound toward San Angelo and a white SUV was northbound toward Abilene when the vehicles crashed in the roadway.
