Driver of City Vehicle Apparently Causes Lunchtime Crash at Rosa's

 

SAN ANGELO- A crash involving a city volunteer vehicle occurred this afternoon on South Jackson near Knickerbocker.

Around noon, a two-vehicle crash occurred between the Rosa’s and Chipotle restaurants that shut down the northbound lanes of S. Jackson St. for a short period of time. On scene, San Angelo Police directed traffic around the crash.

According to a San Angelo Police Officer, a San Angelo city vehicle was leaving a private driveway from Rosa’s restaurant when a brown vehicle was traveling northbound on the 300 block of South Jackson Street. The city vehicle made a left turn when it was struck by the brown vehicle in the roadway.

No injuries were reported from the crash and a written warning was given to the driver.
