An early morning house fire in Abilene resulted in a resident sustaining burns while escaping the blaze that erupted at a duplex on the 600 block of EN 16th Street, shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Thursday.
At approximately 10:11 a.m. this morning, the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 87 North and FM 2105.
A crash between a Lincoln Continental and a Chevy passenger car unfolded at the 400 block of West Beauregard, leaving one driver with minor injuries and resulting in a citation for the Chevy driver.
