RANKIN, TX — High winds and blowing dust reduced visibility significantly and may have caused a 30-vehicle crash on SH 349 just north of Rankin just after 4 p.m.
The driver of the concrete pumper truck that swerved into the wrong lane and crashed into a Hays CISD school has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, according to court documents.
