Midland Man Dies After Rollover on Highway 191

MIDLAND, TX - A 34-year-old Midland man died early Thursday following a single-vehicle rollover on State Highway 191, according to Midland Police.

It happened around 12:10 a.m. in the 11500 block of Highway 191. Investigators say a red 2018 Toyota Corolla veered off the south service road, re-entered the roadway, and skidded sideways before leaving the road again. The vehicle rolled over during the crash, striking and severing a utility pole at ground level.

The driver, identified as Seward Brandon Lott, was partially ejected and became pinned beneath the vehicle. Emergency responders from the Midland Fire Department freed Lott, and he was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
