Eldridge Vaudine (Deanie)

Vaudine (Deanie) Eldridge, 79, of Stanton, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in San Angelo.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Deanie Eldridge was born in Quanah, Texas to F.F. and Adele Fleming on February 25, 1934. She went to school in San Angelo and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1952. She married William Anthony Eldridge on October 25, 1956 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Deanie was an Air Force wife who took care of her 3 girls and household, sewed for the Officers’ wives, built furniture, worked in auto parts, built and owned a miniature golf course with her husband and high school friends, then worked as a bookkeeper for the Carriage Dress Shoppe in San Angelo for several years before retiring 3 years ago. Deanie Eldridge, as manager, along with her teammates was inducted into the Lakeview High School Hall of Fame in 2012 for the 1952 Lakeview Maidens basketball team.

Deanie was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Crossnoe; great-granddaughter, Kadyn Wilson; and sons-in-law, Michael Delavan and Boyce Kennedy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband William Anthony Eldridge, daughter Susan (Henry) Armendarez, daughter Toni Kennedy (Gary Cabral), grandchildren Stephen (Rindi) Wilson, Justin (Ashley) Wilson, Aimee Crossnoe (Robert Arterbury), Amanda (Alex) Monarrez, Hank (Belinda) Armendarez, Michael (Kailey) Delavan and Brandon Fort, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends Mona and Bob, Peggy, Jeanette, Thelma, Barbara, Pat and her monthly Thursday luncheon girls.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Arbor Terrace, Domingo Lopez and the staff at Odyssey Hospice.

Couch Laticia Crotwell

Laticia Crotwell Couch, 57, of Winters, Texas, passed away on December 13, 2013 in San Angelo Texas. 

Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Robert Massie Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Benson, officiating. A private burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. 

Laticia was born in San Angelo, Texas to Melvin and Patricia Crotwell on August 27, 1956. She married Randy Couch on August 19, 1978 in San Angelo, Texas. She attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Laticia worked as a teacher for First Baptist Church Child Development Center of Midland, Texas for almost 20 years. Before moving to Winters, Texas where she worked as a teachers’ aid until her retirement. 

Laticia is preceded in death by her Mother, Patricia Crotwell. 

Laticia is survived by her loving husband Randy Couch, of Winters, Texas; Son, Dustin Couch of Farmers Branch, Texas; Daughter, Crystal (Roy) Ramirez of Midland, Texas; Brother, Ricky (Jenna) Crotwell of Keller, Texas and his children Cara (Jason) Brooks, Colton, Katy and Camden Crotwell; Sister, Penny (Raoul) Gamache of Arlington, Texas and their children Cagnie (Trent) Palmer and Micah (Nicole) Gamache; Brother, Christopher (Eleshia) Crotwell of Denton, Texas; Father, Melvin (Sandra) Crotwell of San Angelo, Texas. 

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of the nurses and doctors that have cared for Laticia over the years. Jim Benson for everything he has done.

Webb Hardy Lee

Hardy Lee Webb, 59, passed away on December 14, 2013 at his residence.

Hardy was at his best when he was helping others. He was a volunteer at Shannon and was once awarded volunteer of the year. He took meals to the sick, opened his home to those down on their luck and literally gave the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

He was charismatic and never met a stranger. Hardy was the first to offer help to those in need. He dreamed to volunteer at St. Jude's Hospital. He had a real soft spot for children.

In health, Hardy was an avid golfer and provided tough competition on the course. He enjoyed being a marshall at Quick Sand for years.

Hardy expressed pride in his children and their many accomplishments and adored his grandchildren. He delighted in their laughter and took pleasure in spoiling them.

Hardy received much joy in family and holiday gatherings and his presence will be forever missed.
Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Dorothy Webb and one step son Lance Schkade.

Hardy is survived by Jeannie Webb, two daughters Emily and husband Jeremy Rieger of San Antonio, TX, and Alison and husband Don West of Aubrey, TX; One step son John and wife Julie Schkade of San Angelo,TX; three grandsons Dalton West, Rhett Rieger, Lance Schkade; One Granddaughter Londyn Schkade-Coats; Step Father Dalton Trvitt; One sister Patty and husband Darrell Williamson; One nephew Jeff and wife Natalie Chapman; two Nieces Kim and husband Shawn Teal and Mikki Marshall.

Arrangements are pending with Johnson's Funeral Home.

Hutton Henrietta Mayse

Henrietta Mayse Hutton was born on September 26, 1925 in Davilla, Texas. She was born to Henry Mayse and Hattie Davis. She was brought up in the Church of Christ since her late teens. 

She was the youngest daughter. She had 8 brothers and 5 sisters. She married Raymond Hutton on June 6, 1954. Henrietta Hutton passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in San Angelo, Texas of a heart attack. 

Henrietta leaves to mourn two daughters: LaFayette Fuller of San Antonio, TX and Winnie Howard of Houston, TX; one son Raymond Hutton Jr. Of San Angelo, TX; also two grandchildren: Leonard Bernard Fuller of San Antonio, TX and Janetta Alexander of Houston, TX; two great-grandchildren: Jordan and Jazmine Alexander of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Homegoing service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Lillie Street Church of Christ with Brother Altheron Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.

The family graciously acknowledges with gratitude and appreciation each expression of love, sympathy, prayers, cards and gifts for all that knew and loved Henrietta Hutton. We thank you and ask God to continually bless you.

Morrison Verima Kendrick

Verima Kendrick Morrison, 93, of San Angelo, passed to the arms of our Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.

She grew up in Clark County, Ark., until she was 16 and moved to Texas where she went to school in Eola, Texas. While living in Eola she met and later married Aubrey Morrison on Nov. 27, 1949.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Aubrey, in 2003; her sisters, Vonna and Voy; brothers Greer, Clell and Don; parents Carolyn Myer Kendrick and R.M. Kendrick; and a great-granddaughter, Keylin Kennedi Morrison. She is survived by her sons, Royce of San Angelo, Aaron and his wife, Cindy, of Burleson, Texas, and James and his wife, Jane, of San Angelo; grandchildren Kyle Morrison and Lisa Campbell of Big Spring, Kraig Morrison and Cayla Morrison of Gatesville, Texas, Jarrod and Daisha Morrison of Stanton, Texas, Jimmy and Dawn Morrison of San Angelo, David and Sara Geist and Ratawna Polk; and great-grandchildren Pade and Kort, Keena, Kallie, Ballclap, Kyrstin, Kyle, Dusty, Anastasia, Randall, Christopher, Hanna and Myles; sisters-in-law Leta Mae Kendrick of Anson, Wilma Cunningham, Joyce and Larry Barnes, Mary Nessmith and Peggy Morrison of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, in Eola, Texas.
