Sylvia Briones Villarreal, 50, of San Angelo, passed away on April 14, 2014.
Chapel Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 in the "Remembrance Chapel" of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Jimenez, two daughters Mona Lisa Almanza of Austin, TX and April Ann Contreras of San Antonio, Texas. Other survivors include two brothers, Joe Santos of San Angelo and Henry Santos of California, and one sister Lydia Martinez of San Angelo.

Adam Rivera Suniga, 28, of San Angelo, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his residence. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Centro Cristiano Hosanna. Burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Services entrusted to Robert Massie Funeral Home. 

He is survived by his mother, Martha Morgan, brothers, Daniel and Adam Suniga, sister, Selena Garcia, and grandma, Dora Rivera,

Braughler Alfred

Alfred Braughler went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was 62 years old.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with the Rev. Ellen King officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Alfred was born June 30, 1951 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Jack and Dorothy (Boyer) Braughler. He grew up in Indiana, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Purchaseline High School.

Alfred married Nancy Statham on May 20, 1988 and they lived in Denton, Texas a few years. He and Nancy moved to San Angelo, Texas on January 1, 1990. He collected coins, enjoyed going to the park and loved the Lord. He was employed with FEMA and Lowe’s before he retired. He was a volunteer for the Adult Literacy Council, and an Omsbudman for the Area on Aging.

Al was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Kathy Braughler.

Al is survived by his wife, Nancy; his sisters, Margie Snavely and her husband Jay; Barbara Lightner; Marsha Georgiana all of Pennsylvania; brother, Robert Braughler from Buffalo, New York; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A meal will be provided after the service at, Plaza Del Rey, 304 Washington Street. Everyone is invited to attend.

Jacobe Howard

Howard Lloyd (Jake) Jacobe went to be with his Lord and Savior after a brief illness on April 16, 2014, at the age of 86. 
Jake was born in Breckinridge Texas on April 10th, 1928, to William Lloyd and Mary Gray Jacobe. He was drafted in the army and spent two years serving his country in Ft. Lewis, Washington. During his time in the Army he met his wife Ruby Helen Stallings. In 1952, Howard and Ruby were married and went back to Washington to complete his military service. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he went to work for Mobil Oil for the remainder of his 37 year career. San Angelo became his home after retirement. It was during this time that he realized his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. He enjoyed spending his free time flying and traveling with his wife. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorthy Aliff. Jake is survived by his wife Ruby, daughters; Renee and Cloyd Burson and Patti and Brian Rader. As well as, his six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 
We wish to thank Sagecreast and Odyssey Healthcare for the amazing care that he received in his final days. Arrangements are being made by Johnson's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to:

Bass Billie

Billie Jean Bass, 79, of San Angelo, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2013.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00am Friday, April 18, 2014, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2013 at Johnsons Funeral Home.
Billie Jean Bass was born in Beaver County Oklahoma, October 10, 1934. She grew up in a small community, of Balko, where she attended school. Billie was the third child of Robert and Wanda Duff. She had one sister, Roberta Sanger and one brother, Frankie Duff and she was the younger of the three. Billie graduated from Balko High School, May 1953, in a class of 16 friends.

After graduation, she moved to Guymon, OK with a school friend and classmate, and was employed by GTE, in the fall. As time went by, she met and married Roy Joe Bass, on April 23, 1954. They lived in several small towns in Oklahoma and Texas while both being employed with GTE and raising Kids.

Billie and Joe raised four wonderful children, one son, Roger Bass and three daughters, Karen Alston, Jo Lynn Harrison and Sharon Murphy. Billie was a fine MOM and enjoyed life, and she loved those children and grand-children.
In 1980, Joe and Billie moved to San Angelo, Texas, where they chose to stay after retirement from GTE. They loved to travel some but also loved living comfortable at their home in San Angelo.

Billie is survived by her four children Roger Dale Bass of San Angelo; Karen Lee Alston and husband Gary of Wheeler, Texas; Jo Lynn Harrison and husband Brett of San Angelo; Sharon Kay Murphy and husband Norman of San Angelo; grandchildren Jason Bass of Lawton, OK, Dee Alston of Wheeler, TX, Terrance Harrison and Shawna Murphy and Shannon Murphy of San Angelo; three great-grandchildren Austin Walters of Guymon, OK; Tyranny Bass of Lawton, OK and Myra Bass of Lawton, OK; one niece Carol Siefkes & husband Dave of Georgetown, TX, great-nephews Darren Siefkes and Craig Siefkes of Austin, TX, and nephews Greg Duff of Amarillo, TX and Kelly Duff of Spokane, WA.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents Robert Duff and Wanda Duff Claybrook; her beloved husband Roy Joe Bass, grandson Taylor Harrison; brother Frankie Duff and sister Roberta Sanger.

The Family wishes to extend a Special Thank You to the Shannon ER staff; all the present and past Caregivers who watched over and cared for Billie at the Park Plaza - Cedar Manor Special Care Unit. Also thanks to Odyssey Hospice of San Angelo. Special thanks also to Harvest Baptist Church for your prayers and Pastor - Ron Patterson for his attention during the family's times of need and support.

Hunter Ruby

Helen Sanders Hunter went home to be with her Lord, Jesus on Thursday, April 10, 2014. She was born on September 12, 1941 and graduated from Eola High School in 1960. 
Helen is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dorwin Ray Hunter of Grand Prairie, Texas and her children, Deborah Hermes and her husband, Glen of Hallsville, Texas and Jennifer Hunter-Erwin and her husband, Dale of Fort Worth, Texas, her grandchildren, Tiana Welsh, Leslie Erwin and Hunter Hermes, along with two great grandchildren, Ronnie and Johnathen Welsh. Helen is also survived by her sisters, Doris Hudson and her husband, Bert of San Angelo, Texas and Judy Tabor and her husband, Dale of Early, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Jack Sanders and siblings Harvey, Mary Dale, Billy Gene and Janice Sanders, Dorothy Mazuk and Laverne Williams Smith. 
The family would like to thank all of the family members, friends and health care professionals that have loved and supported Helen throughout her illness.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas. A graveside service will be held on April 16, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eola Cemetery in Eola, Texas.
