San Angelo Rodeo May be Postponed

12/08/2020 - 17:49 , by live
SAN ANGELO, TX — An urgent press conference was called for 2 p.m. Wednesday by the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association at the Fiesta Building on the rodeo grounds. Speculation is, in light of the decision by the Houston Stock Show and Rodeo to postpone its event from March until May 2021, and the cancelation of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, San Angelo will likely alter the event planned for Feb. 1-15, 2021. As of today, the San Antonio rodeo is reported to still be planned for Feb. 11-28, 2021.

Student Trump Campaigner Speaks After Texas A&M Backs Down

12/08/2020 - 13:44 , by dokeke
OPINION — On November 2, members of Students for Trump at Texas A&M and myself, the president of the organization, placed “Trump 2020” signs within different areas on campus. Before finishing, officers from the University Police Department (UPD) asked us to pick back up the signs due to the risk of ground damage. After clarifying with their supervisor, they concluded that we are within our jurisdiction and our rights to place these signs. This conversation was followed by them asking if we would like to press charges on individuals who were found removing our signs. We decided to not press charges on those individuals.
