Christy Lea Coleman Nelson passed from this earthly world on December 2, 2020, at the age of 45. Christy was born August 10, 1975, to the proud parents Gary and Judith (Griffin) Coleman. 
Christy lived most of her life in San Angelo. Christy was gifted with discernment, she often knew when others had a need and did what she could to meet it. She was generous and caring. 
She is survived by her son, Noah Zane Nelson, her parents, Judith and Gary Coleman and grandmother, Jewell Griffin, several family members and friends she considered to be family. Joshua Shute was her closest beloved friend. 
Christy loved God and believed upon the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, her Savior. She was quick to pray or ask for prayers when needed. 
Christy is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmy Griffin, grandparents Larry and Joyce Barnes and grandfather, Richard John Coleman. 
Christy was an avid pet lover, she is survived by her hairy brother, Willie Boy, who continues to look for her everywhere.
