Mrs. Gregoria Cadena, 84, of San Angelo, passed away on January 28, 2021 in San Angelo, Texas. Mrs. Cadena was born March 12, 1936 in Cd Acuna, Coah. Mexico. She is preceded in death by two sons, Hector Manuel Cadena and Rolando Cadena. A Rosary will be read at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 N Oakes St. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with interment following at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.

Survivors include her husband Tomas Cadena of the home, three sons, Tomas Cadena Jr, Rodolfo Cadena and Benito Cadena and three daughters, Dora Hernandez, Rosa Isela Cadena and Araceli Cadena.

Juanita June Tinney, 85, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2021, in San Angelo. Juanita was born August 14, 1935 to Elmer and Henrietta Parkinson. She grew up in White Point and Ballinger and attended school there. She was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Juanita enjoyed being with her family and spending time with them. Her hobbies were painting and quilting and kidding around with her husband and all her family. Her love and laughter and strong sense of family will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss her. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Leonard Tinney, one son, Jerry Edward Tinney and three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband John Boykin, of San Angelo; her sons, David Tinney and his wife Lana, of San Angelo and Ronnie Tinney and his wife Julia, of Sweetwater; Seven grandchildren, Brock, Brandon, Denver, Christy, Jennifer, Jessica and Heather; 22 Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and one special friend, Annie Mae Nickelson. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, TX.

Lacita Joan Childs

Lacita Joan Childs passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, in San Angelo, Texas. Lacita Childs was born January 30, 1933, in Texarkana, Texas. She married James W. Childs of Texarkana on June 10, 1950, they later moved to Houston and celebrated 57 beautiful years of marriage. She was a repeat member of the Million Dollar Club with Wallace Realtors. Lacita was baptized as one of Jehovah Witnesses on January 1, 1972. Through the years she and J.W. helped many individuals learn about Jehovah and His hope for mankind. She was the matriarch of the family, caring for her parents later in their lives, and she and J.W. spent many summers soaking up the sun with their grandchildren in their travel trailer on Galveston island. They loved to visit Gaido's Restaurant, where they had celebrated their honeymoon. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Childs; brother Robbie Smith; mother, Mary Smith; and father, Emerson Smith. She is survived by sons Mark Childs (Carolyn) and Dennis Childs (Pam); grandchildren Jennifer McInnis Fadel (Ali); Denver Childs (Karmen); Jacqueline Childs; Crystal Allen (Brent); Brittany Childs; and great­ grandchildren, Michael McInnis (Katherine), Taylor McInnis (Zachary), Arden Harrison (Colby), Morgan Childs, Emma Childs, Logan Childs, and Mila Allen. 

Services will be conducted by Ed Tiemann and streamed online at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021. 

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association
