Armed Female Suspect Robs Cricket Wireless Stores

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio woman is behind bars after she allegedly robbed multiple Cricket Wireless stores.

According to court documents, 24-year-old Ayona Krystyne Tunstill went into one store and acted like she intended to make a purchase. She then pulled out a gun and pointed it at a store employee. She ordered the employee to sit on the ground and began filling a large backpack with phones and cash from the register.

Tunstill and her accomplice left the scene in a maroon vehicle.

During the investigation, police connected two other robberies in other Cricket Wireless stores in the Austin area to Tunstill.

The description of the suspects in all three robberies matched Tunstill and she robbed the stores in the same manner.

Tunstill was charged with Aggravated Robbery.
