Karen Hesse-Smith was elected in a special election Jan. 29 to fill the unexpired term of Single Member District 5 councilman Lane Carter who resigned to run for Tom Green County Judge.
Tom Green County voters will notice a difference inside the polling place but for early voting, the most noticeable change is that there are five early voting locations instead of one.
