Maria Garza, 34, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $25,000. She was arrested at 7:58 a.m. and released on bond at 3:58 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.

The 2022 UIL Texas High School Football Quarterfinal matchup between the Irion County Hornets (11-0) and the Jonesboro Eagles (12-1) has changed dates. The Hornets will now play the Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. in Early.
The San Angelo Central Bobcats (3-0) traveled up to Abilene to take on the Abilene High Eagles (1-5) Tuesday, Nov. 22. The Bobcats led the entire way and traveled back to San Angelo with a comfortable 60-43 victory.
