For the fifth straight year, Angelo State University has been named a national "College of Distinction" by the Colleges of Distinction print and online college guide that recognizes colleges and universities implementing best practices in higher education.
Angelo State University's chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi (PKP) national honor society has won a 2022 PKP Literacy Grant that will be used to support the San Angelo Independent School District's "San Angelo READS!" community-wide literacy initiative.
Discussions will include cattle quality, marketing, medicine, rangeland health and more. Over two dozen ranching product vendors will also be on site, and the day will wrap up with a social mixer.
