SAN ANGELO – The San Angelo Police Department is hosting National Night Out tonight at San Angelo Stadium. This event will take place from 4:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at San Angelo Stadium on the Johnson St. side in the parking lot.
National Night Out is designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
Multiple Law Enforcement agencies and San Angelo Fire Department will be in attendance along with vehicles for display. There will also be information booths from local agencies providing information to the public. Central High School/Lakeview Cheerleaders, Angelo State Ram Dominic and Cheerleaders will also be in attendance. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided.
A bounce house is available for children along with the Railway Museum of San Angelo providing train rides at this location. The SAPD will have a fingerprinting booth for children.
The participation of the fingerprinting booth enters for a chance to win door prizes such as scooters donated by Target, $50 Walmart gift card, Senor Chang’s gift card, Central Firehouse gift box, and more.
At 5:30 p.m the SAPD will have a K9 display. Following the K9 display Fort Concho Elementary will have a special performance at 6:00 p.m.
This event will take place in the parking lot of the San Angelo Stadium on the Johnson street side. This is a come and go event and free for all families.
