PROCTOR, TX – A 17-year-old and a 20-year-old killed a huge feral hog with a knife in central Texas this week.
According to New12Now, on July 30, Nathan Wright, 17, and Colton Roberts, 20, killed a 460 lbs feral hog.
"It might have been the biggest hog we've been upon," Colton Roberts said. "But never expected to catch one that big."
Besides the hog being massive the interesting part about the hunt was that the guys killed the near 500 pound beast with a knife.
"It's just a big adrenaline rush for us is what it is," Nathan Wright said. "And you get up there close and you get a big adrenaline rush and I guess that's what keeps us stuck to the game."
The largest hog ever killed on record weighted in at an unbelievable 1,051 pounds. A nearby taxidermist measured that animal and reported that its tusks were at least 5 inches long. It was killed by an 11-year-old boy with a .50 caliber revolver in Delta, Alabama.

PermalinkKilling something because you will eat it or even killing hogs to keep them from destroying the land I'm ok with but, I don't like hunting trophies and I'm against hunting for bloodsport.
These two boys talk about the rush. If they want a rush then leave the dog home next time. The dogs are trained to grab an ear or snout and keep the hog defenseless while the brave hunter goes in with his knife and tries to kill the hog. Yep, if you want to prove your bravery, leave the dog at home so the hog will have as much chance of cutting your femoral arteries with his tusks as you will stabbing his heart.

Permalink...So dislike the bloodsport part of it as well, but as they say, stereotypes come about for a reason.....and....what the hell????? Mike Pence is the DEFINITION of what a vice-president is supposed to be.......he was actually a calming voice during a lot of the pandemic press conferences......have big personal probs if you are not halfway satisfied with the guy.....jeez.....
