Standard Conversation in Effect — Nov. 1 through March 31: Water yards once every seven days. Allowable application rates: up to 1 inch per week. Prohibited watering hours: noon to 6 p.m. Hand watering of lawns, gardens, landscape areas, trees, shrubs or other plants being grown outdoors or foundations may be done on any day, except during the prohibited watering hours of noon to 6 p.m., provided the allowable application rate of 1 inch per week is not exceeded. Angelo State University Tutoring Program Successfully Helps Abused Children Reach Goals

ASU students were trained by the WHIT program in identifying and reporting signs of sexual, physical and emotional abuse; appropriate strategies for assessing student learning and progress; and methods of motivating students to fully engage with their studies. They were then paired with K-12 students in the Tom Green County Child Protective Services system for weekly tutoring sessions.
