Michael Ray Fergason

Michael Ray Fergason, 71, of San Angelo passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 in Austin, TX. He was the son of Floyd and Lois Fergason and lived in San Angelo. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 16, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home with Mike Bonner officiating. Michael was a loving son and brother who devoted his life to caring for family members in their time of need. He was a very gifted artist in wood working and painting and was also highly skilled on computers. Michael was a man of tremendous faith and used God’s strength to serve others and his 9th and Main Church of Christ family. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Fergason, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and a niece, Carma Leigh Tippit. Michael is survived by his Mother, Lois Fergason, of San Angelo, his Sister and her Husband, Marilyn and Kenneth Thompson, of Abilene, TX and many other family members. The family would like to thank the EMT workers, the Doctors and Nurses on Shannon South at Shannon Medical Center and St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas for all their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Bruno R. Velasquez 89, "90" (because he counts being in the womb) passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in San Angelo, Texas.

Public viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the Prayer Service Being at 6:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, burial following at Belvedere Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. 

Mr. Velasquez was born October 6, 1931 to Manuel Velasquez and Juanita Velasquez in Eldorado. He has been a resident is San Angelo since 1946. Don Bruno was a man of many talents no job was to big or small for him to conquer. He was a very hard-working man. Bruno was always willing to lend a helping hand. He attended Church of Christ; religion was very important to him he would always share the word of God. Bruno loved music which included him singing, playing the guitar and accordion. He loved spending time with his family and adored his grandkids. His doors where always open to everyone without judgement. Bruno loved telling jokes and stories. His grandkids favorite memories were going to Ben Ficklin swimming. He's going to be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Survivors include three sons, Freddy Romangano, Bruno Velasquez and wife Julia, and Bruno Manuel Velasquez; four daughters, Cynthia Velasquez, Rita Velasquez and Viola Abalos, Janet Cantu and husband Tony, and Gloria Marie Velasquez; two brothers, Manuel Velasquez, and Santos Velasquez; 13 grandchildren, Alex Romangano, Veronica Hernandez and husband Esrael, Jr., Bruno R. Velasquez and wife April, Natalie Bautista, Juan Antonio and Kristi Bautista, Jessica Rodriguez and husband Gilbert, Teresa Plumley and husband Keby, Raul Lombrana and wife Crystal, Victor Lombrana and wife Olivia, Victoria Lombrana, Delia Arredondo and husband Victor, Daisy Lopez and husband Danny, and Mr. and Mrs. Cezario Garcia; 50 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Bruno was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Juanita Velasquez; two brothers, Jose Velasquez, and Estevan Velasquez; 2 sisters, Olivia Velasquez Garza, and Felicita Velasquez; a granddaughter, Monica Segura; and a daughter-in-law, Rosalinda Velasquez.

John 10:27-29:
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.

Arthur Gene "Art" Morton, 68, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 3, 2021. 

Memorial Gathering will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 23, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. 

Art was born on October 27, 1952 in Midland to Billy Gene Morton and Wanda Bonnie Leigh Morton, the eldest of their four children.

He attended Kerrville Tivy High School and San Angelo Central High School. He married Donna Marie Wallace on April 29, 1978. She preceded him in death in 1996. 

Art was a long-haul truck driver, following in his Dad's footsteps. He loved his truck and was full of "trucker stories" which were always followed by his unending jokes. He loved children, constantly picking on them, and making them laugh. His last 6 years were a challenge after suffering a debilitating stroke, but he accepted his challenge head on with grace & dignity, choosing to be happy and make the best of his situation with a big smile on his face.

He is survived by his daughter, Scarlett Mendoza and husband Manuel; son, David Sharp; sister, Patricia Usery and husband Tommy; five brothers, Clarence Foley and wife Tarala, Chris Foley and wife Jennifer, Joe Don Morton and wife Sharon, Kelly Morton and wife Candace, Jackie Foley; and a sister-in-law, Tammie Foley; four granddaughters, Mayzee Mendoza, Zaylee Mendoza, Calista Gibson, and Kailyn Gibson; along with many nieces & nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. Art was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara McAda; brother, Robert Morton; stepfather, Wesley Foley; and stepmother, Donna Gray Morton. 

We know that he is walking & talking with ease again, reunited with his beautiful Donna, his parents and all those loved ones that were waiting for him at the Pearly Gates with open arms. It's not goodbye, it's see ya later!
