Rosales Katharina

10/30/2014 - 17:59 , by johnb

Katharina "Candy" Rosales, 52, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at a local care center.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Candy fought a long 4 year battle with cancer. She never gave up. Candy was a wonderful mother, beautiful daughter and a caring sister. She loved everybody and had a lot of friends and never met a stranger. Her son was most of all, her pride and joy; she loved him dearly.

She was born on October 2, 1962 to Stefanie (Fischer) Price in Germany. She attended school at Central High School. Candy worked as an independent landscaper for many years.

Candy is survived by her mother and step father, Stefanie and Bill Price, son, Israel Zacharria Rosales; sister, Jo Ann Wright, nephew, Brandon Wayne Hall; niece, Brittney Marie Mitchell, two grand nieces, Kylie Marie Mitchell and Kinsley Ann Mitchell all of San Angelo, TX;

The family wants to extend a special thank you to the nurses, aides and staff at Senior Care Center for being there for us and to Gentiva Hospice for doing a great job through such a hard time, special thank you to Wendy and Gaye. Thank you so much.

COME TO ME

God saw you getting tired,
and a cure was not to be,
so He put his arms around you
and whispered,
“Come to Me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you,
and saw you pass away,
and although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
