Phillip Townsend Scaggs

Phillip Townsend Scaggs, 78, of San Angelo, Texas transferred his membership from the church militant to the church triumphant on October 28, 2020. Phil was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in June 1942 to Wilbert T. and Dorothy Townsend Scaggs. He was raised in Fort Worth, Texas where he met his future wife, Sharon Dominy Scaggs, to whom he would have been married to for 60 years this December. He was a graduate of Howard Payne University, Class of 1965. 
Together, Phil and Sharon had many adventures and lived in many different cities, but they have called San Angelo home for 25 years. Phil retired at age 50 and had plenty of time to enjoy his numerous hobbies and passions, including cars, woodworking, and golf. 
Phil was a past President of Model A Clubs in Portland, Oregon and San Antonio, Texas and a past President of the Lions Club. 
Phil is survived by his wife Sharon, daughters Liz (Jeanette) Scaggs, and Margaret (Steve) Lupton, grandchildren Ryan (Holly) Lupton, Georgia Lupton, and Philip Lupton, a great-granddaughter Liv Lupton, brother Tom Scaggs, and sister in law Becky Kilpatrick. 
A private memorial service honoring his life and legacy will be held by the family. Memorials may be made to Meals for the Elderly, First United Methodist Church, or a favorite charity.

Frances Dela Rosa Hannan of San Angelo was called to Heaven on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

Frances was born December 3, 1960 in Coleman to Pablo and Julia Dela Rosa. She was married to the late Daniel Hannan on April 16th, 1987. We lost an amazing Woman, Mother, Nana, Daughter, Sister, and Friend who touched the hearts of every person she met. She did not know a stranger. She was a ray of Sunshine when she entered a room. If you didn't see her you would definitely hear her. She was the life of the party. Anywhere there was music you can guarantee she would be dancing. She loved to travel, spend time with family, The Dallas Cowboys, the roar of a Harley, hanging out with friends, and living life to the fullest. She was the store manager at Cato and known as "The Cato Lady". She will be missed by the many hearts that she touched. Frances passed away at the young age of 59. Forever 21!

She was preceded in death by her Mother Julia, Father Pablo, and Husband Daniel Hannan.
Frances is survived by her children who were the Pride and Joys of her life:
Daughter Krystl Garcia and Son in law George.
Son Matthew Dela Rosa and Daughter in Law Stephanie.
Granddaughters Holli Garcia, Julianna Garcia, and Brianna Garcia.
Grandsons Sean Garcia, Noah Perez, and Tristan Dela Rosa.
Brothers Rudy Dela Rosa and wife Patsy, Joey Dela Rosa and wife Norma, Paul Julian Dela Rosa and wife Noemi.
Sisters Kathy Tate and husband Geoff, Paula Jennings and husband Rick, Annette Lee and husband Robert.
Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sisterly friends Janie Perez, Lisa Ashton, Julie Hernandez, and many life long friends.

Bonnie Mae (Eldred) Burnett

Bonnie Mae Eldred Burnett, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2020, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Bonnie was born December 31, 1935 in Iraan, Texas to Allen Jefferson Eldred and Vera Viola Kinney Eldred. She was a 1954 graduate of Iraan High School. Bonnie married Arthur “Art” Burnett on August 1, 1955 in Lovington, New Mexico. Art passed away on April 22, 1990. Bonnie had worked for Schlumberger, the ASC office and in the banking business for over 30 years in Big Lake where she retired. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Some of her favorite hobbies included sewing, gardening, traveling the world and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Marcella Burnett of San Angelo; a son Warren Burnett of San Angelo; a granddaughter, Ashley McKneely and husband Cody McKneely of Carlsbad, Texas; a grandson, Derek Burnett of San Angelo; and three great grandchildren, Kinslea, Mason and Wylie. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Allen Eldred; and three sisters, Lois Jones, Arlene Tannehill and Margie Draper.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
