Four Dogs Face Euthanasia at San Angelo Shelter

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Animal Shelter is nearing its capacity with 175 dogs currently housed on-site as of Tuesday, September 17.

Without immediate adoption, fostering, or transfer to another rescue, four dogs are scheduled to be euthanized by 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 21.

Local animal rescue organization Concho Valley PAWS is urging the public to step in and save the dogs at risk.

The shelter is required to maintain a population below 180 dogs at all times.

Interested adopters or foster volunteers are encouraged to contact Concho Valley PAWS or visit 24petconnect.com to view available pets.

Concho Valley PAWS will be open for adoptions from Tuesday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. to facilitate efforts to rehome the animals.
