SAN ANGELO, TX – After releasing the name of the driver and passenger involved in a fatal crash Friday night, the Department of Public Safety has released more details about the incident.
According to KTXS, 39-year-old Johnny Chance Connelly was heading northeast on State Hwy 206. About three miles southwest of Cross Plains his 2008 Jeep Wrangler left the road, went over a creek and struck a concrete embankment on the opposite side of the creek.
The Jeep flipped over and ejected Johnny Connelly and his passenger, Gage Thomas Connelly, 19.
Johnny Connelly was pronounced dead at the scene and Gage Connelly was transported to Hendrick Medical Center with critical injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
