Original Story:

SAN ANGELO, TX — This morning at 3:40 a.m. police were called to the 600 block of E. 39th Street and found a man severely injured. According to police, 26-year-old Kristian Rose of San Angelo was conscious but non-responsive.

Police administered first aid until San Angelo Fire Department medics arrived. Despite efforts to save Rose’s life, he died at the scene. Police said he was suffering from an “undetermined” injury.

Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard pronounced Rose dead and ordered an autopsy that is being conducted at the South Plains Forensic Pathology Center in Lubbock.

Police did not indicate they are investigating a homicide.

We reported this morning that police were conducting a "death investigation" where much of the investigation involved the alleyway between E. 38th and 39th Streets near the intersection of Bonham St. More information and a video is here.
