Three people went to Shannon Hospital this morning after a crash on Avenue N and S. Johnson.
Officer Gesch with the San Angelo Police said at approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning, the driver of a white pickup was traveling eastbound on Avenue N while the driver of a green minivan headed southbound on Johnson St. The pickup disregarded the red light and collided with the minivan.
Gesch said there were four passengers in the van that included a woman and three children. Three people in the vehicle were transported to Shannon Hospital with unknown injuries.
The officer said the driver of the pickup received a citation for failure to yield at a red light and no proof of insurance.

When is SAPD going to start doing traffic stops to check for license and vehicle ins? Seems like every vehicle accident happening now has at least one person involved not having one or both.
