Three People Sent to Shannon After Morning Crash

 

Three people went to Shannon Hospital this morning after a crash on Avenue N and S. Johnson.

Officer Gesch with the San Angelo Police said at approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning, the driver of a white pickup was traveling eastbound on Avenue N while the driver of a green minivan headed southbound on Johnson St. The pickup disregarded the red light and collided with the minivan.

Gesch said there were four passengers in the van that included a woman and three children. Three people in the vehicle were transported to Shannon Hospital with unknown injuries.

The officer said the driver of the pickup received a citation for failure to yield at a red light and no proof of insurance.
