Crash Snarls Morning Knickerbocker Traffic

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Sunset Drive slowed traffic Thursday morning and prompted police to urge drivers to avoid the area.

It happened just before 8 a.m. According to San Angelo Police, a black Toyota Camry was heading south on Knickerbocker and attempted a left turn onto Sunset when it failed to yield the right of way. The Camry collided with a white Mazda CX-5 traveling northeast on Knickerbocker.

The Camry had one occupant, and the Mazda had three. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The driver of the Camry was cited for failing to yield the right of way while turning left.

Police and tow crews worked to clear debris and remove the vehicles, causing delays for morning traffic.
