WATCH: Lincoln Loses to Ford in Crash Near DPS Office

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash near the Texas Department of Public Safety office sent one person to the hospital Friday morning.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. Aug. 1 at the intersection of Foster Road and Sunset Drive. A white Lincoln Aviator and a dark Ford F-250 were involved, according to a San Angelo police officer at the scene.

Police said the F-250 was traveling south on Foster Road when the Aviator, heading east on Sunset Boulevard, failed to yield the right of way and collided with the truck.

The Aviator’s driver was taken to Shannon Medical Center for evaluation. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening. She told officers she did not see the F-250 and was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The driver of the F-250 was not injured and was released at the scene.
