A proposed bill in the Texas Legislature aims to prevent oil and gas companies from disposing of toxic waste on private land without notifying or securing consent from landowners.
A tornado was confirmed on the ground near the Tom Green and Sterling county line, according to an alert issued by the National Weather Service at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19.
