As the special session, convened by Gov. Greg Abbott to contemplate a voucher system, commenced on Monday, the House Republican Caucus, still reeling from setbacks on Paxton's trial and property tax debates, called for Patrick and his allies to distance themselves from the Defend Texas Liberty PAC by donating their campaign funds from the PAC to charity.
