AUSTIN, TX — Podcast host Joe Rogan made headlines by endorsing former President Donald Trump at the end of a two-hour interview with Elon Musk. During the discussion, Rogan praised Musk's arguments for supporting Trump, ultimately aligning himself with Musk's perspective.
“The great and powerful Elon Musk. If it wasn’t for him, we’d be in serious trouble,” Rogan remarked. “He presents the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.” He concluded, “For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast.”
The interview, released just before 7 p.m., quickly gained traction. Trump responded to the endorsement during a rally in Pennsylvania, saying:
“So somebody very, very respected asked me to do his show two weeks ago, and I said, why not?” Trump told the crowd. “And to me, it’s huge, because he’s the biggest there is in that world—somebody said the biggest beyond anybody in a long time. His name is Joe Rogan, and he’s never done this before.”
Rogan has interviewed several key figures in Trump’s circle, including Trump himself and his running mate, J.D. Vance. Musk and Tulsi Gabbard also appeared on his show in the lead-up to the November 5 election. Notably, Rogan invited Democratic candidates Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, but they declined the opportunity.
