Lyft Offering 50% Off Rides To Polls on Election Day

SAN ANGELO, TX — The rideshare app Lyft is offering 50% off rides to polling places on Election Day.

The company said it is offering a discount, of up to $10, to help increase voter turnout on Tuesday, Nov. 5. 

A one-mile increase in distance to a polling site can reduce voter turnout by 20%, according to Lyft.

To receive the discount, Lyft users need to enter the code VOTE24 on the app.
