The Texas Rangers have launched an investigation into an incident that occurred on the evening of October 20, 2023, at the Wagner-Noel Performing Arts Center, an establishment owned by The University of Texas Permian Basin.
MIDLAND, TX — A late-night escapade turned perilous as a man commandeered a frontend loader, setting off a chain of events that led to a dramatic confrontation with law enforcement near the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center at 1310 FM 1788 in Midland. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. last Friday.
A San Angelo man was arrested on Monday for aggravated assault and several other crimes after getting upset with the victim and threatening to kill her.
