Tom Green County Man Arrested for Disgusting Crimes Against Minor Girls

SAN ANGELO – A San Angelo man was arrested recently along with two others for possession of child pornography after a tip from the Feds.

According to court documents, law enforcement received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a local man was in possession of child pornography.

A mirandized non-custodial interview was conducted with Miles Marcel Morales on October 31, 2022. During this interview, Morales allegedly admitted to not only possessing child pornography, but sharing and distributing lewd images of children as well. Morales allegedly was said to solicit images and video females Morales knew to be under 18 years of age.

After Morales granted a special agent to search his cell phone and iPad, a social media platform was located where Morales had shared eight images of females under the age of 18, engaging in sexual performance. Also discovered in the social media platform were lewd images received by Morales from females ranging in age from 10 to 16.

Morales was also talking with a child who confirmed to him that she was 16. He allegedly solicited the child to send videos of her engaging in sexual performance, which the child did.

The special agent also located numerous images of child pornography on Morales’s iPad.

Morales was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for possession with intent to promote child pornography, sexual performance by a child induce/authorize, and possession of child pornography. He is still and inmate and has a $185,000 bond.

Morales was arrested as part of an investigation conducted by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office. He, along with William Hoak and Max Kieffer were identified as subjects and probable cause was developed that warranted their arrests.
