Former Teacher Charged With Possession of Lewd Images

ODESSA, TX -- A former teacher in Odessa accused of having an appropriate relationship with a student is facing additional charges.

According to court documents, 51-year-old William Boone was arrested last year for allegedly dating a student. Back in May, an Ector County ISD Police officer met with DPS Special Agents to discuss the ongoing investigation.

The school officials told the special agents that during a search of Boone's home he had observed images of the female victim. The images met with the definition of child pornography.

Boone now faces a charge of possession or promotion of child pornography, a third-degree felony.
