Predator Makes Bail a Second Time in a Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The man who has flooded San Angelo's news feed this week has been released from the Tom Green County Jail after once again making bail.

According to the jail bond records, on Jan. 21 at 4:13 p.m., Gregory Estes, 56, was released from the Tom Green County Jail after posting a $5,000 surety bond for indecent assault.

Estes only remained in the jail for a little over five hours. Both arrests in Tom Green County, Estes made bail before sunset. His original bond was set at $415,000 while the second bond was only set at $5,000.

The arrest came days after Estes was accused of committing a number of child and adult sex crimes while in Taylor and Coleman county. Estes is from San Angelo where he works as a financial advisor. He was arrested for the assaults in Tom Green County.

Estes has been a registered sex offender for years. If convicted of the recent charges the punishment could be enhanced depending on the District Attorney's Office.
