DETAILS: San Angelo Man Assaulted Woman During Drive to Abilene

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Details surrounding the arrest of San Angeloan Gregory Estes have been released. 

According to court reports, on July 28, 2020, a Texas Ranger was contacted by a Sergeant at the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office regarding an incident that occurred on June 17. 

The sergeant told the ranger that he had been informed of an attempted sexual assault that occurred while in a moving car.

Estes is accused of taking a woman to Abilene to buy a new car. During the car ride Estes allegedly made innappropriate statements and made explicit comments about her body. 

He then forcefully grabbed the woman's breast through her shirt sleeve, attempted to put his hands down her pants and ultimately touched her genitals from outside of the pants while making sexual comments.
