GoFundMe Page Setup for Missing Christoval Woman

SAN ANGELO, TX – A GoFundMe page set up to help in the investigation of the disappearance of a Christoval woman has raised more than $2,000.

As previously reported, on December 29, the Christoval Volunteer Fire Department received a call regarding a structure fire on the 19800 block of 8th street. Deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office were also dispatched to the scene and spoke Anabel Bruton, 29, who stated she was the only one inside of the residence. Later that day Bruton was arrested and charged with Arson. She was released on a $35,000 surety bond three days later . Then on March 3 Bruton was indicted on the charge and failed to appear in the court. A warrant was issued for MTR Arson.

Although she is wanted by the law, Bruton's family believes that she isn't running but instead missing. Here is the story reporting Bruton missing: Accused Arsonist Goes Missing Weeks After Being Indicted.

Now a GoFundMe has been created titled #HelpBringAnnaBrutonHome. The following is the message in the fundraiser written by Vernon Bruton.

Update while searching woods yesterday her father found the sweater she was wearing still searching there hoping we find more clues There  are conflicting stories in her disappearance. Her boyfriend Rodney Blankenship was the last to see her alive around FM 252 just south of CR 486 after having an argument and her running off into the woods without her wallet, clothes, phone, or medication. Her family is starting a GoFundMe account to help raise money as a reward for anyone who can take her parents Gina and Vernon Bruton to her or make contact with her. Please help us find our loved one. If you have any information please call Jasper County sheriffs office at (409) 384-5417 or her parents (432) 352-8732 or (432) 889-9004

The Jasper County Sheriff Mitchel Newman told KJAS earlier this week that "she is on the run to avoid that case."
