Accused Arsonist Goes Missing Weeks After Being Indicted

SAN ANGELO, TX – A woman who has recently been indicted for Arson has now been reported missing.

As previously reported, on December 29, the Christoval Volunteer Fire Department received a call regarding a structure fire on the 19800 block of 8th street. Deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office were also dispatched to the scene and spoke Anabel Bruton, 29, who stated she was the only one inside of the residence. That day deputies learned from a Snapchat video that Bruton allegedly burned down the trailer home while screaming "You finally get to see the chaos you caused, I F--king hate you." This video was sent to her boyfriends Rodney Blankenship.

Bruton was charged with Arson that day and then in February was indicted by a Tom Green County Grand Jury. Bruton had her post indictment reporting hearing scheduled for March 3 but she failed to appear. The reason for her not showing is unknown right now because Bruton has now been reported missing by family members.

On Mar. 3, deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a missing persons report for Bruton. That report was later shared to the public in hopes of finding her. Here is the initial report: Authorities Searching for Missing Christoval Woman

The report indicated that she was last seen by her boyfriend, Blankensip, on Feb. 28. Blankenship claims they were in the Kirbyville area. The JCSO told KJAS that he is not sure whether Bruton has gone missing due to the indictment or not.

If you have any information on Bruton's whereabouts contact authorities immediately.
