San Angelo’s City Council could greenlight over $41 million for Coliseum upgrades and will weigh major airport projects and a river park redesign at Tuesday’s meeting.
FEMA will open a Disaster Recovery Center in San Angelo on July 15 to help residents impacted by Central Texas storms and flooding apply for federal aid.
Heavy rains caused multiple rivers in Central and North Texas to flood over the weekend. Rescues were conducted in San Saba, Lampasas and Schleicher counties, with evacuations taking place in Lampasas, Menard, Kimble and Sutton counties.
