Tom Green County Detention Facility Corrections Officers booked 15 individuals into jail in the last 24 hours on a variety of charges including, Burglary, Fleeing a Treatment Facility, and Forging ID Numbers. 

The San Angelo City Council Tuesday awarded two bids totaling over $10 million to reconstruct Howard St. from Sherwood Way to Edmund Blvd. as he next major project in the 10 year, $80 million street rehabilitation bond program.

Tuesday was remarkable in San Angelo history because the record all time temperature of 114 degrees was reached mid afternoon.  It's never been this hot here before.

San Angelo has broken its ALL-TIME high temperature record of 111°, hitting a temperature of 112° this afternoon.
