The UIL State Executive Committee met Thursday regarding the suspension of a Texas high school football coach who allegedly oversaw a plan to videotape opponents’ signals while scouting.
The Texas Secretary of State’s Office reported that nearly 4.7% of all registered voters went to the polls Monday for early voting. Most Concho Valley counties had an even higher percentage.
Nearly 6,000 people had already voted in Tom Green County as of 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the county’s Election Administrator, Vona Hudson.
The Wall High School girls cross country team qualified Tuesday for the UIL state meet, along with runners from Blackwell, Garden City, Menard, Mertzon and Bronte.
