Bonham Elementary to Celebrate 40th Anniversary With Sheep Unveiling

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Bonham Elementary School will mark its 40th anniversary Friday with the unveiling of a fiberglass sheep.

The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the school campus, located at 4630 Southland Blvd.

The sheep, painted by Ashley Perales with Pop of Color, is part of Downtown San Angelo Inc.’s Sheeptacular fundraising art project, which now includes about 170 sheep around the city.

According to a release from San Angelo ISD, the sheep was made possible by Bonham Elementary students, parents and staff, and supported by Downtown San Angelo, Inc. and the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce.
