Police Investigate Assault at North Bryant and Houston-Harte Expressway

An apparent fight between two or more men near or under the North Bryant underpass may send one or all assailants to jail.

A bloodied victim was found in the McDonald’s parking lot after a citizen called 911 while witnessing the fight. Police arrived and dispatched an ambulance and EMS crew to treat the victim. He appeared to have been cut, possibly with a knife. The fight did not happen at McDonald's.

Meanwhile, police are searching for the other party or parties in the confrontation. It appeared to be a knife fight or knife attack from our vantage point. According to police at the scene, they are treating the incident as an aggravated assault. One or all of the participants may go to jail, said officers at the scene.

Before we left the area, it appeared that police had found persons of interest who may have been the other parties in the alleged assault.

This is a breaking story. We will update this tomorrow morning if the police report is released.

At no time were innocent bystanders threatened.

I know there are some bad oilfield workers out there, but there are also some good ones. There are some bad people who do not work in the oilfield just as there are some good people who don't work in the oilfield. We made our lving in the oilfields of West Texas and we certainly weren't oilfield trash. We were Christian, law abiding upstanding citizens of the community and our children were well mannered and all did well in school and all sports. So please get off the oilfield trash harp!
