WATCH: Police Identify Stripes Stabbing Murder Suspect and Need Help Finding Him

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – At 11:45 a.m. San Angelo Police Department held a press conference concerning the fatal stabbing that occurred at a local Stripes early Sunday morning.

According to Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox, a warrant of arrest has been granted for Robert Arambula Jr. for the charge of murder after police allege he stabbed 26-year-old Rhyheme Talton during an altercation.

Arambula is 47 years old, 5’ 7” and approximately 160 pounds. He is described as having black hair or shaved hair. Arambula has ties in and around the San Angelo area as well as Dallas, TX.

In 2018, Arambula was arrested for theft of property, evading arrest detention, and a warrant after police were dispatched to the Walmart on S. Bryant for the report of shoplifting. In 2019, he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

He is to be considered armed and dangerous and the public is advised to contact SAPD with any information regarding his whereabouts. Normally I would not say or write anything like this. But the man who did this needs to be found and also stabbed to death. If and when he goes to court he will end up getting a lesser charge because of the court system in this town. The man killed was somebody's son, brother uncle, cousin, etc. There in not a good reason to stab someone unless you are protecting yourself and fear for you life if they had stabbed your first. San Angelo has become a horrible place to live. Everything is to costly and the crime is getting worse by the day.
