Standard Conversation in Effect — Nov. 1 through March 31: Water yards once every seven days. Allowable application rates: up to 1 inch per week. Prohibited watering hours: noon to 6 p.m. Hand watering of lawns, gardens, landscape areas, trees, shrubs or other plants being grown outdoors or foundations may be done on any day, except during the prohibited watering hours of noon to 6 p.m., provided the allowable application rate of 1 inch per week is not exceeded. More instructions are at the City of San Angelo.

Trump was kicked off Twitter on January 6, 2021 during the aftermath of the Capitol Hill riot that happened that day. Twitter’s executives said Trump violated the Twitter terms of service by using the service to foment a riot.

BRECKENRIDGE, TX — The Wall Hawks (10-1) and Childress Bobcats (7-5) traveled to Breckenridge’s Buckaroo Stadium on Friday, Nov. 18, for round 2 of the 2022 3A Division 2 UIL Texas Football State Championships. The Hawks soundly defeated the Bobcats 44-10.

San Angelo Celebrates Adoption

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo and Tom Green County celebrated National Adoption Day at the Sugg room in the Stephens Library Friday. The annual event is a collective effort to raise awareness of the more than 113,000 children waiting to be adopted from foster care in the United States. A coalition of national partners (the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, Alliance for Children’s Rights and Children’s Action Network) founded National Adoption Day.

Irion County Wins Decisively to Advance to the 3rd Round

SONORA, TX — The Irion County Hornets (11-0) dismantled the Leakey Eagles (6-6) Thursday night, Nov. 18, in the second round of the UIL Texas High School Football Playoffs 1-A Six Man in Sonora at 6:00 p.m. The Hornets beat the Eagles back in September 61-6, and the outcome did not change. The Eagles put up a fight, but Irion County claimed victory 52-0.
