SAN ANGELO, TX — Warm and dry conditions are forecast to continue across West Central Texas into the weekend, with high temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 90s and some areas approaching 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.
Daily highs through July 3 are expected to range from the lower 90s in places like Brady and Ozona to the upper 90s in cities such as Sweetwater and Abilene. San Angelo’s forecast calls for highs between 94 and 98 degrees through the period. Overnight lows will stay mild, generally in the low to mid-70s.

While the weekend remains dry, forecasters said there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday across the Big Country and surrounding areas.
The National Weather Service advised residents to prepare for continued heat and monitor forecasts for any potential changes early next week.
