Standard Conservation in Effect — San Angelo is in standard conservation, which restricts outside watering to twice every seven days at no more than one inch per week from Apr. 1 through Oct. 31. Watering is prohibited between the hours of noon and 6 p.m. during these months. Runoff of more than 150 feet down any street, gutter, alley or ditch is also prohibited. More instructions are at the City of San Angelo.

STERLING CITY, TX — A child may have been abducted under suspicious circumstances in Sterling County. The Sterling County Sheriff's Office send out the alert at around 7 p.m. for anyone who may have video footage of this black SUV. The sheriff said the apparent abduction happened in broad daylight between the hours of 2:30 p.m and 4:30 p.m.

DEL RIO, TX — A nationwide manhunt, which began after a violent shooting in Florida, has brought renewed attention to the role of humanitarian organizations in facilitating the movements of illegal migrants. Two Cuban brothers, Jaroscar Chavez Silva, 36, and Roshiel Chavez Silva, 30, were arrested in New York after Del Rio police, in collaboration with a local non-profit humanitarian organization, tracked their path across multiple states.
