Nadine Joyce Johnson

Nadine Joyce Johnson, 94, passed away on April 1,2021. Nadine was born to Herbert Johnson and Nettie (nee Reed) Johnson on April 26, 1926 in Springfield, MO. 
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Arthur B. Johnson of Springfield, Eugene G. Johnson and Alan R. Johnson both of San Angelo. Also sisters-in-law, Mrs. E.G. (Martha) Johnson and Mrs. Alan (Betty) Johnson of San Angelo. A nephew, Glen E. Johnson also predeceased her. 
Nadine worked for the Frisco Railroad (later Burlington) after high school graduation until her retirement in 1985, approximately 45 years. She was the Chief Data Entry Clerk upon retirement. Her father was a Railroad Engineer and she and her brothers shared a love for all things railroad. She and her two brothers and sisters-in-law were involved in a restoration of the San Angelo Railroad Depot and there is an exhibit of memorabilia she donated there. She and the E.G. Johnson's moved to San Angelo in the late 1980's where the Alan Johnson's were long-time residents. Alan was retired from the Air Force and owned a camera shop. All the siblings shared an interest in photography and had large collections of railroad oriented photos. 
Nadine is survived by three nephews, Jim Johnson (Marihelen) of West Lafayette, IN, Ricky (Betty) Johnson of Arlington, TX and Nicky (Beverly) of San Angelo, TX. Also nieces, Connie (Johnson) Bradford of Euless, TX and Linda Johnson of San Angelo. She is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. Nadine was a loving, caring aunt who was always good to remember everyone's birthdays. She was proud of each of their accomplishments and kept a mental record of family history that was amazing. She will truly be missed. 
A viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Harper Funeral Home. Interment will be in Springfield, MO with her parents. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the San Angelo Train Depot Museum.

David Eugene Pate, 69, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in San Angelo. David was born February 26, 1952 in Monett, Missouri to Thurman C. and Thelma L. Pruitt Pate. He attended Lakeview High School in San Angelo but relocated to California and graduated from High School there. David enlisted in the United States Air Force just after high school and served his country honorably until his retirement in 1992. After his retirement, he would go on to receive his bachelor’s degree in electronics and relocated back to San Angelo where he began his second career programming, and servicing ATM machines. David married Tricia Marie Sims on April 14, 2005 and they shared 15 beautiful years together. He was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather who enjoyed being around his family. David had a loving and kind spirit and a quiet nature about him. He was an avid reader and enjoyed working in his yard daily. His quiet nature and kind and loving spirit will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss him! David was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Thurman C. Pate, Jr., and one grandchild, Caitlyn Pate. He is survived by his wife, Tricia Pate, of San Angelo; his children, Joe David Pate and his wife Amanda, and Amy Sue Thomas, all of San Angelo; his three grandchildren, Chelsey Pate, Jacob Pate and Ashley Richardson and her husband T. J; his great grandson, Blake Richardson; his brother, Lee Earl Pate and his wife Sherry, of Mission Viejo, CA; and his two sisters, Judy Harold and her husband Will, of Coeur D’ Alene, ID and Debbie Leedy and her husband Scott, of Valley Spring, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Graveside Service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Elizabeth Barr HOSA Chaplain officiating.

LuElla Baker Stanley, age 95 of San Angelo, entered the gates of heaven on April 2, 2021.

Public viewing will be on Monday, April 7 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM
The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 6th at the Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas. Mr. Frank Berthold will officiate. 

LuElla was born on March 16, 1926 in Olney, Texas to Henry and Ruth Hoots Baker. She married Robert Stanley on January 24, 1944. The couple ran their own business, Stanley Boot Shop for many years before retiring. She was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary and the Texas Veterans for Veterans Association, in which she was very active. Lu Ella had been a member of Chadbourne North Church of Christ since 1959. She always found joy when visiting with friends, riding motorcycles with her husband, Robert and reading poetry. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.

LuElla is survived by her children, Roy Lee Stanley and wife Joellen, Betty Lu Stanley White and her husband Bob, and Jimmy James Stanley; a sister, Ida Baugh; grandchildren Joey James Stanley, Lu Ann Stanley Reding; step-grandchildren, Becky Boring and Chris White; eleven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
