Marcella Caroline Przilas Woehl

Marcella was 86 years young and lived in Wall, Texas. She was born on February 25, 1935 in Colorado City, Texas and died on April 22, 2021 in her home of natural causes. Marcella is the daughter of Otto and Martha Klein Przilas. She is survived by her brothers Oscar Prizilas and his wife Kay of Dalhart, Texas, Melvin Przilas and his wife Phyllis of Dalhart, Texas, and beloved sister Bernice Schwartz and her husband Kenneth of Wall, Texas. Marcella met the love of her life through a cousin, John Schwartz and had a correspondent courtship and married Herbert Arlin Woehl on August 12,1959 at the Holy Sacrament St. Mary’s Church in Umbarger, Texas. They lived in Wall, Texas where they farmed and raised their four children. Marcella was an avid gardener and loved sharing and selling the fruits of her labor at the farmer’s market. She loved growing beautiful flowers for the butterflies and hummingbirds. Every year the monarchs could be seen in her garden. Marcella was an accomplished seamstress making special occasion dresses for her children. She also made beautiful quilts for her family. Marcella also made beautiful shadow boxes for newlyweds to commemorate their special day. Marcella is predeceased by her honey, Herbert and parents. She is survived by her son, Arlin Woehl and wife Ann of Wall, Texas, and daughters Mary Jo Stasiowski and husband Jeff of Austin, Texas , Lisa Ann Thompson and husband Kurt of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Gayenell Phelan and husband Brian of Dixon, California. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brooklyn Woehl Bloodworth and spouse Thomas, Sharlyn Woehl, Zachary Thompson, Aubrey (A.J.) Woehl and spouse Madison, Andrea Thompson Hulsey and spouse Jeffrey, Caroline Stasiowski and fiancé Christopher McGuire, Chad Phelan, Jacob Thompson, Matthew Stasiowski, Caleb Thompson and spouse Tiffany, Katherine (Katie) Woehl Wilha and spouse Steven. Marcella is also survived by great grandchildren Dylan Bloodworth, Sawyer Bloodworth, Stratton Woehl, Leddy Bloodworth, Gauge Woehl, Samuel Hulsey, and expectant Kross Wilha. The rosary will be 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Wall, TX. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Wall, TX. Burial will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Cemetery in Wall, TX. Pallbearers are Chad Phelan, Jacob Thompson, Zachary Thompson, Caleb Thompson, Matthew Stasiowski, Aubrey Woehl, Steven Wilha, Thomas Bloodworth, Jeffrey Hulsey. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Woehl, Andy Woehl, Courtney Woehl, Bennet Woehl, Ross Hedrick, Mark Przilas, Kevin Przilas, Keith Przilas, Douglas Przilas, David Przilas, Kent Schwartz, Kyle Schwartz, and Arlin Woehl, Jeffery Stasiowski, Kurt Thompson, Brian Phelan.

It was tough sledding with defenses hanging tough for each side in a 24-21 final-quarter tie.

Austin Westlake darted to a 17-14 bulge over Houston North Shore as the fourth quarter began.

The Chaparrals’ offense jumped to a 17-7 lead over the Mustangs at the intermission.

The Chaparrals opened with a 10-0 advantage over the Mustangs through the first quarter.
