Malinda Evonne Williams

Malinda Evonne Williams was born to the Union of Bill and Mary Dozier on October 8, 1962 in Levelland, TX 
She graduated from Abilene High School in 1981 and spent most of her adult life in San Angelo, Tx where she also met and married her husband, Tim Williams on August 18, 2000. Malinda is best known for her amazing smile, her infectious laugh, the brightest personality, and her selfless, giving heart! She loved to sing and dance all the time, she enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and golfing with her husband. She loved going on nature walks and especially adventures with her grandchildren! 

Malinda accepted Christ at an early age, she was baptized in Hobbs, New Mexico and continued devoting her life to Christ as a member of Glen Meadows Baptist Church. Her unwavering faith was her guide to each day, whether good or bad she knew if God brought you to it, He would bring you through it! “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live” Psalm 23:6 

Malinda’s caring heart led her to devote 40 years to direct health care, spending 18 years at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center and 22 years with D&S Residential. During her time in health care she not only changed the lives of every individual she cared for, but also every family and staff she worked with. 

Malinda Williams departed this life to her eternal home in heaven on February 4, 2021. She left to cherish her memory: Her loving husband Tim Williams, Her children: Heather Havard, Perry Havard, Sabrina (Stephanie) Atkins, Krystyna Williams, and Elizabeth Williams, Her Parents: Bill and Mary Dozier, Her Siblings: Darla (Kevin) Grogg, Bill Dozier, and James “Scott” Dozier, Her Grandchildren: Jayvalyn Nichole and Braylon James. Her extended Children and Grandchildren: Susie (AJ), Kyleigh, Marcus, Kimberly, Kayden, David “Ducky” Matthew, Atticus, Crystal, Logan, and Willow, Her Parents in law: Bodie and Karen Williams, and her brother in law Tom (Angie) Williams. She also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of extended family. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday February 7, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at Harper Funeral Home, located at 2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904 
Services will be held on Monday February 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Glen Meadows Baptist Church, located at 6002 Knickerbocker Rd, San Angelo, TX 76904

Doris Loraine Goodson

Doris Holiman Goodson passed away on February 6, 2021 in San Angelo. 

Services are pending at this time. 

She was born May 3, 1926 to her parents, Horace and Mabel Holiman, at their residence, 
23 S. Park in San Angelo. Doris graduated from San Angelo High School and attended the University of Texas during World War II. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority at UT. Doris worked at both Mathis Field AFB and Goodfellow AFB for several years. After marriage and motherhood, she was a Brownie & Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader, and assisted with Vacation Bible School.  Later Doris started working at Central High School as Assistant Registrar and Bookkeeper where teenage students started calling her “Miz G”. Ten years later, she bought a Ladies Retail Clothing Store and named it “Miz G”. She enjoyed many years of playing bridge with several groups of ladies. Doris is a member of the First Presbyterian Church. 

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elyon Holiman Hanson and husband Bill Hanson. 

She is survived by her three precious children and their families: daughter, Glee Montgomery (Sully) of Ballinger, son, Guy Goodson (Kimberly) of Beaumont,  and son, Gill Goodson (Debbie) of Montgomery; her grandchildren, Devon Diaz (Joe), Derek Darby (Crystin), Molly Goodson, Will Goodson (Amy), Erin Brown (Ray), and Clay Goodson; her great-grandchildren,  Ayla & Charley Jane Diaz, Davis, Mary Cathryn, & Madelyn Darby,  Hamp & Tucker Goodson, and Briley, Kaylen, & Ellie Brown; her nephew, Horace Hanson (Carol) and Niece, Sherry Hinnant (Ray) and their families.

Doris said, “Things to Always Remember Daily”: 
Laughter is the best medicine; Smiles make life so much better; Patience is a virtue.

Romeo G. Ramirez

Romeo G. Ramirez age 92, of San Angelo died on February 4, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Public viewing will be on Tuesday, February 9th from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Robert Massie Funeral Home.  The rosary will be said at 6:00 PM in Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.  The funeral mass will be on Wednesday, February 10th at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.  Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jonathan Ramirez, Tyler Ledezma, Edgar Guerra, Connor Jost and  Frank Alejandro;  honorary pallbearers are Don Priddy, Oscar Calderon, Michael Ramirez Jr and Mark Ramirez.   Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.  Please note that face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

Romeo was born July 6, 1928 in Kingsville, Texas to Romeo and Maria Garza Ramirez.  He married Stella Falcon on September 16, 1957 in Ballinger, Texas.

He was a strong willed yet compassionate man that never met a stranger.  Hard work was in his blood and he may have slowed down a little bit, but he worked until the age of 92.  He retired from SESCO as a supervisor in the Winding department. He quickly returned to work as a vet tech at the San Angelo Veterinary Hospital. Romeo was exceptionally kind, considerate, thoughtful, and a caring father with a witty sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was proud to be called dad, grandpa, or Grandpa Romeo by all who loved and respected him.

Romeo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Viola; and a great-granddaughter Reanna.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Priddy and husband Don of Brownwood, Michael Ramirez and his wife Estella of San Saba, Mark Ramirez and his wife Gloria of Uvalde, and Sandra Ledezma and her beau Oscar Calderon of San Angelo; by a sister Maria Magdalena of Kingsville; his grandchildren, Katherine Priddy, Rebekah Ramirez, Michael Ramirez Jr. and spouse Misti, Jonathan Ramirez, Breanna Guerra and spouse Edgar, Tyler Ledezma,  Anissa Calderon, Nyah and Nathan Torres; and his great-grandchildren, Paisley Jones, Brayden, Jayden, Stella, and Gracelynn Ramirez, Klohie Lavaris, Ariel Guerra, Mariah and August Ledezma; and great-great grandchild Kai Armstead. 

Romeo had a special relationship with many. He held a very special place in his heart for Todd and Beth Henderson and family, His family and friends at the San Angelo Veterinary Hospital; Terrell and Cathy Sheen and family; Terry and Ana Hudson and family; Dr.  Vincent Lam Sui and his staff; Dr. John Stevenson and his staff, Dr. Rudy Haddad and staff, and Melissa Hogg The family acknowledges appreciation and much gratitude for the care provided by Kindred at Home Health Care and Kindred at Home Hospice.
